Brooks Defyance 9 Women's Running Shoes With a revolutionary combination of plush cushioning and stability, the Defyance 9 from Brooks will keep the wearer ready and raring to go. Breathable Mesh Upper The upper of the Defyance 9 is made from a breathable mesh fabric. This allows cool air to flow into the shoe at the same time as warm air is released, creating a cool environment inside of the shoe which will keep the foot cool and dry for longer. Synthetic overlays have been strategically placed across the foot which will offer support to key areas. Additional eyelets have been added to the upper lacing system which will allow the shoe to be lace locked. This is an easily adjustable fastening which will provide the wearer with a more stable and supportive fit. Under the mesh lies an Element lining. This material allows excess sweat and moisture to be drawn away from the skin and moved to outer fabric layers where it can be easily evaporated, leaving the inside of the shoe as a cool and healthier environment. Plush padding has been added into the tongue and heel cuff. This will allow these key areas to sit closely against the foot without causing chafe and discomfort. BioMoGo DNA Midsole The midsole is constructed from BioMoGo DNA midsole foam. This allows the midsole to mould to the foot to offer a personal and supportive fit.
