The Merrell Junior Chameleon Waterproof Walking Shoes features a mesh and pig suede upper, which allows air to fully permeate the shoe and keep your feet cool and dry, no matter what. The broad bellows tongue keeps debris out of the shoe, meaning you'll have no need to stop. Extra heel stability supports your foot, even on the most uneven of terrains. For further protection of your foot, a thin anti-bruise forefoot plate and durable nylon insole are featured. Strobel construction ensures that the shoe is flexible, whilst metal lacing eyelets ensure laces are secure and that your feet stay put in the shoe. The lining of the shoe is treated with AEGIS Microbe Shield® technology, ensuring that it is protected from bacteria and therefore eliminates odour. The Merrell Junior Chameleon Waterproof Walking Shoes features a grade 2 nylon insole for trail hiking, as well as a moulded nylon arch shank for support and stability. A 2mm EVA insole absorbs shock, whilst a compression moulded EVA foot-frame provides superior comfort. The sole of the shoe features a 5mm sole lug depth for enhanced flexibility, allowing your foot to move naturally. The sole is constructed from strong Vibram® TC5+Rubber, allowing for superior grip and traction on your hike.
